Gray Middle School is located in beautiful and historic Groveland, Florida, thirty miles west of Orlando. The campus was renovated to its new beautiful setting in 2010, and has since grown to a population of around 1,400 students today. Our students come from Clermont, Groveland, Mascotte, and the surrounding areas. Our award-winning band program consists of the Symphonic Band, Concert Band, Gator Jazz Band I & II, Percussion Ensemble, and the Gator Spin Club. We perform several concerts each year at Gray Middle School & South Lake High School, as well as some public community concerts, and various competitive venues throughout the State of Florida. We perform at several Gray Middle School & South Lake High School athletic and school-sponsored events as well. We utilize music performance to educate our students about culture, quality standards, organization, time management, leadership skills, and social skills through each of our outstanding ensembles.
